• HELEN MEILLEUR LIBRARY RESEARCH PAPER AWARD

  Helen Meilleur made contributions to the NVIT library in hopes of enhancing library services at NVIT. The NVIT library has now turned those funds into two, $250 scholarships to be given to students who demonstrate the research skills that college libraries are dedicated to developing. These scholarships will be awarded annually as a tribute to her continued interest and support.

  Open to any full-time NVIT student in any program at the Merritt campus. Students must s ubmit ONE of their 2009/2010 “already marked” research papers. Papers will be based equally on the quality of written style and research. The deadline to apply is March 19, 2010. More information can be found on the scholarship/awards bulletin board or from an Academic Planner.

• Eligibility:

  If you are registered full-time in any program of study at NVIT at either campus, in Merritt or Vancouver, you may qualify for one of the bursaries. The Bursaries are non-repayable awards based on a student’s financial need. Other factors of consideration will include academic standing, and community or NVIT involvement. Preference will be given to Aboriginal students.
