Over an eight-week span, the Gladue Report Writers Training program will provide students with the comprehensive skills associated with the Gladue report process.  Students will learn about colonization and the legacy of trauma, the history of Indigenous peoples and the criminal justice system, Gladue factors, professional conduct as a Gladue report writer, skill-based interviewing and finally, how to write a Gladue report.  Successful completion of this course will result in the opportunity to apply to the BC First Nations Justice Council roster of Gladue report writers.
