This course focuses on the use of education as a strategy for individual and social change by introducing students to the concept of education as the practice of freedom and as a process of social transformation through concientization. Principles and practices of adult education will be examined for their application in social work as empowerment and change. Students will present workshops, plays, or web programs to achieve the objective of developing specific skills and knowledge for planning and delivering educational programs.
