xá'isla language proficiency in adult learners prepares them for learning and hearing xá'isla language sounds. The learner will actively participate in an xá'isla introduction to x?á'isla language. Instructional methods develop proper pronunciation skills in the separate sounds and sound changes of xá'isla language and develop recognition and differentiation of separate sounds in speech.
