25/SP Language Development (FNSL-133-C1)

This course explores typical language development in children and the variety of influences on language learning. Early language facilitation techniques are described and demonstrated. We discuss the roles of attention, memory and perception in the acquisition of language and outline activities that enhance language learning for children and students. We review differences in language use at home and school.
